It features a removable platform insert that accommodates a 9 inch by 13 inch layered cake and reverses to a convenient appetizer tray. Remove the tray to carry cooled items still in the pan, from cakes and casseroles to lasagna. Secure the collapsible lid to the base with 4 attached side clips. Carrier measures approximately 20 inches by 16 inches and when collapsed is only 2.75 inches high. Includes a carrying handle for easy transport. Dishwasher safe.

However, shame on you, Progressive!! The product came with Progressive paper labels on two sides and the entire top of the cover. The adhesive could be used on the space shuttle! It took a solid hour of hot water, Goo-Gone, scrubbing, peeling, and frustration in order to remove all the adhesive. As a result, the finish of the brand-new cover has been scratched and dulled. Not exaggerating. Surely a company that specializes in products with good design can do better on attaching labels. Edit 4 months later: in concept, I love this carrier, but, it is made to transport cakes and not heavier dishes. I used it last night to convey a 13 X 9 lasagna in its glass pan, and the carrier's handle broke. Probably my own fault,... Unfortunately, the aspect that makes this carrier seem so unique and practical is a fatal flaw. The carrier might work if you are transporting something other than delicate cakes, but the both times I've used this carrier to transport my cakes, I have had near disasters. The first time, someone curiously peered into the cake carrier while the lid was on to sneak a peak. She didn't realize it was collapsible and lightly placed her hand on one corner of the carrier and it collapsed onto the cake! The second time, I was trying to secure the carrier to the seat of my car so it would not slide around when I drove. I hit it wrong some how and the top collapsed on my cake again! Luckily, both times, it was only a partial collapse and the damage was minimal enough so that I could repair it. But, if you spend hours on decorating your cakes, the high risk of this thing...
