I thought it was a little smaller than it looked online, but it fitted all my desserts. I layered the desserts so that each tier held a different dessert and placed fresh roses in between the desserts. It looked so pretty - I wasn't expecting the tier to look this good because it is not glass, but it worked really well. It was easy to transport too because all the tiers pull apart - something I didn't know when I looked at this online. So it was easy to push all the tiers together when I was ready to set up my display, and it is easy to store since it stacks neatly into itself once it is disassembled. This also means you can choose to have 2, 3 or 4 tiers. Also the tiers were very sturdy, unlike some tiers that topple easily, this one is quite rigid. I'm loving the tier tower and I know I will use this regularly. The only thing I wasn't happy about and didn't see in any of the reviews that I read was that each platform/layer is slightly slopped downward so the cupcakes weren't very secure on the stand which is the reason several cupcakes fell off. No big deal just a slight concern of mine. Still happy I purchased though. It is constructed out of good plastic and can easily be decorated. We love them so much we ordered a second set for my son to take muffins to school for his snack. They hold the cupcake or muffin so well that even if it tips over and rolls around a bit, the frosting is not even smudged up. At first I thought 6 was too many but about the same price of just two of the other brand. But as I said, we actually ordered a second set. It is a rare day when we don't have a few in the dishwasher, a few in the sink, and at least one packed up with a muffin for someone's snack. This review is from: Range Kleen Set of 6 Cup Cake Holder, Pink (Kitchen) I bought these so my family could take cupcakes in their lunches. They are almost perfect! They not only protect the cupcake from being crushed by other things in a lunch sack, they keep them in place inside the holder - so the cupcake stays intact. The only issue is getting a cupcake out of the holder is a bit challenging. I can't really think of a solution for the problem though. I've tried the holders that open from the side and they don't protect the cupcake as well, so this seems like the better of the two options. You just get a little frosting on your fingers when lifting it out - which is bound to happen as you eat the cupcake anyway! Oh! And they're adorable!
